Tablet manufacturing involves a lengthy and time taking
process, which requires numerous machines and loads of patience. One of the
machines required in this process is rotary tablet press. It is used to punch
the powder to make tablet. They are very classy yet easier and faster along
with being mechanically innovative. These machines are huge and require a lot
of area to be placed at. They contain two punches and one die. They are build
electronically motor driven and are also available in hand operated
configuration.
Electronic motor driven rotary tablet presses, designed by
manufacturers are automatic whereas hand driven tablet press machines are
manual. Obviously, automatic tablet press machines are faster and more efficient
than the manual machines. Automatic machines are also more precise as they
eliminate the involvement of human hand to decrease the chances of bacteria
exposure. Another factor is that when human work, they cause human error
whereas machines do not cause it.
